Exploring the Three Roots of Personality with Maureen Fallon-Cyr - 6/9/2010

A  5 week class exploring the ways that Desire-Aversion-Delusion shape our sense of self and developing skillful means to free ourselves. Led by Maureen Fallon-Cyr, LCSW

Come join us for a deep exploration of the ways the Three Roots materialize in your life. We will use the practices of embodiment (mindfulness, inquiry, mindful dialogue and learning to track the body for insight) to create your own personal map. We’ll explore ways to skillfully work with these roots through antidotes, insight and support of the sangha (community).

Classes meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM beginning on June 9th, 2010 at the Durango Dharma Center, 2530 Colorado avenue.
A registration fee of $15.00 will cover expenses for this class. Teachings will be offered freely with the opportunity to practice dana (support through generosity).

Readings for the class will be from Jack Kornfield’s book, The Wise Heart.
