"What happens to my responses?"
The purpose of this survey is to gather your input to help prepare for the annual board retreat in January where the Board of Directors and the Dharma Leader Council work together to formulate our goals and objectives for the coming year. From there, we will communicate the survey results along with our goals for 2012 to the Sangha.
"Are my responses anonymous?"
Yes. We will not collect any personal information.
Thank you in advance for taking part in this valuable exercise!

Erin Treat to Enter Spirit Rock/Insight Meditation Society Teacher Training Program
We are very pleased to announce that our own Erin Treat has been invited to participate in the upcoming Spirit Rock/Insight Meditation Society teacher training.
The four-year teacher training incorporates systematic study of Buddhist texts, extensive training in meditation practices and techniques, study of the Buddhist lineage and history, and teacher role studies. It also includes many hours of practice interviews and assisting at several retreats and classes as preparation for assuming full teacher status. Students having completed the training are authorized to lead classes and retreats both locally and nationwide.
While the next training group won't start until early 2013, Erin will begin by being an assistant teacher for the February 2012 month-long retreat at Spirit Rock.
