AN EVENING OF DHARMA REFLECTIONS WITH BETH STERNLIEB

Join us for sitting meditation and a dharma talk with Beth Sternlieb, a meditation teacher who is visiting from California.
Beth Sternlieb is guiding teacher of both the Buddha's Path and the retreat programs at InsightLA in Los Angeles. She received teacher training at Spirit Rock Meditation Society and Insight Meditation Society with Joseph Goldstein and Jack Kornfield. As a member of the clinical and research team at the UCLA Pediatric Pain Program, Beth teaches Iyengar yoga, mindfulness and compassion to kids and adults with health and chronic pain issues. She is a certified Mindful Self-Compassion teacher. Experiencing people's confidence grow in the dharma, in non-violence and compassion, and in bodhicitta, is why Beth loves teaching.
Beth will also be offering a daylong retreat on Saturday, February 16.
COST: By donation. This talk is offered on the basis of dana, a practice of mutual generosity that has been alive since the time of the Buddha. There will be an opportunity to offer a donation to Beth.
