A Four-Week Class with Bill Ball
Tuesdays starting June 18 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 pm
Practicing meditation brings a new sense of calm into our lives, creating greater ease and less reactivity in the face of life's stresses and challenges. Learn the basics of mindfulness meditation in this four-week introductory class series, which will include talks, discussions, guided meditations, and homework. The class, led by Bill Ball, is open to new as well as experienced meditators looking for a refresher. We wholeheartedly welcome people of all identities to participate.
COST: The cost of the class is on a sliding scale of $20, $40 or $60. Scholarships are readily available. You may choose to pay $10 or $0 through our online system. If you wish to pay another amount, please contact Terry Leonard at email@example.com or 970-799-0084. We invite you to pay at the highest level you can afford so that all who seek the teachings may participate.
An important note: Registration fees support the Durango Dharma Center but do not go directly to the leader of the class. Instead, this class is offered on the basis of dana, a practice of mutual generosity that has been alive since the time of the Buddha. Those offering the teachings rely on the generosity and donations of participants to support their valuable work in this world. The suggested donation is $40-$60 for the whole series, which can be offered at any time.
